I am pleased to write a message for Samadeepa, which is functioning for the last three decades as a Non Governmental Organization with wider noble policies of the founder Dr.Chandraratne Bandara who is basically a Law Graduate.
While Dr.Chandraratne Bandara has dedicated himself to promote Peace, Social Justice, Democracy, Good Governance and Inter Religious Understanding in Sri Lanka, he also conducts several programmes on Social Welfare, Social Development, Social Justice and Traing and Education. Further to these valuable contributions to the Society, the South Asian Acadamy for Good Governance (SAAGG) another arm of Samadeepa administrates educational programmes leading to awarding of Degrees to people of eminence on their merits, work experience, education, studies, research contributions and extra ordinary performances for the benefit of mankind. This will no doubt will bring the people of high calibre of knowledge who were for some reason or other left out of formal education programmes to gain benefits by knowing their potentials. This is a process by which, the potentials of these valuable individuals are brought to light and use them for the benefit of the community and the country by proper utilization of their talents.
At the time of the fifth anniversary of the South Asian Acadamy for Good Governance, I am pleased to congratulate all those who have contributed to the success of the Institution and the driving force Dr Chandraratne Bandara for his humble leadership given. All the contribution of SAAGG, will benefit the country in general and specifically to the advancement of North Central Province of Sri Lanka. I also take this opportunity to congradulate all those who were identified to receive Degrees etc. I believe that the recipients of Degrees will serve the country with the additional strength given to them by the SAAGG.
I wish the Organization to celebrate many more anniversaries, which mean more service to our motherland Sri Lanka.
